Discount brokers that don't look at credit score.

Hi I need to know what discount brokers out there do not look at your credit score to open an account. I recently opened a schwab account and they closed it on me two days later because I didnot meet their credit guidelines. I just want to do some simple trading and maybe buy a small fund not borrow money.

My credit is really bad ,a family member ruined it on me so it will be some time before its good again

Is anyone in a similar situation and has found a broker that will work with them?

The last broker I opened an account with was TradeKing and I don't recall that credit check was part of the requirement. You should call a  few brokers and talk to them. As long as you don't have to have a margin account, your credit shouldn't matter.
